From tradition to innovation

In my work, I search for the analogies and similarities that exist in nature, in society, in the sciences, and in culture.

The idea of ceramic art as an essential element of civilisation and of my own identity could serve as a stimulus towards a new approach, shaped by the modern architectural, visual, and multicultural context.

My work is the result of a meditative dialogue with the clay itself, an effort that brings together all the characteristics of a mature, transcendental creation-relationship.

I make use of the traditional ceramic cord not to build a compact pot but to
create the outline of its shape.

With high fire clay, I craft empty, thin, handmade tubes with which I create new shapes and forms. I place these aerial figures in free-suspension positions so as to trace their journey; they have the ability to freely expand into the room.

Using as little material as possible with maximum creative energy and expression, utterly freely and naturally, I transform earth’s materials into works of art. These innovative creations are characterized by their unique aesthetic and technical perfection.

Either on my own or with diverse teams, I also work on larger projects. Our goal is to foster a sense of teamwork and enable clear communication both during the creation and the exhibition of such works.

I remain curious, stay updated, and actively engage in the international dialogue around ceramic art—from its past to its present and future, with all its modern technological advancements.
